About Us

Here at Outside-In Photography we bring an eye for natural beauty to imaging. We specialize in both still and video productions of commercial, fine art and scientific projects.  Each job is treated with individual attention to the customer’s specific needs with an injection of creative ideas from our staff.

Our lead photographer is Kevin Osborn who holds an MFA from the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography along with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from UC Santa Cruz and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources from Humboldt State University. Kevin specializes in illustrative photography for both product catalogs and scientific projects. He also enjoys producing portraits that reveal the personality of the subject. The natural world also holds a special place in his heart. He has a particular fascination with the microscopic world too, and revels in using the camera to discover worlds invisible to the naked eye.

Susan Osborn is our lead videographer. She specializes in producing HD stock footage of the natural world as well as producing short documentaries on special topics. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Sonoma State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz. Susan’s sensitivity gives her a special gift for connecting with her viewers on an emotional level.
